Technical application specialist

As a technical application specialist, you have a key role in the service management team. The technical application Manager creates, installs and approves the processes on our data science as a (self)-service software platform. In addition, you keep the operational infrastructure running properly and monitor these processes so that it can continue to function optimally.

You are responsible for a robust, reliable and available technical application structure and ensure the usability and durability of our platform and infrastructure.

You define and monitor the technical application lifecycle of our applications and infrastructure and are also responsible for installation, upgrade and maintenance of the applications and infrastructure.

The technical application manager works closely with the service and functional application manager. The Technical Application Manager reports directly to the Head of Product.

Technical application specialist

Role description
  • Responsible for identifying and defining the technical management and service of our applications and IT architecture and ensuring the availability and optimal use of these services;
  • Advise on the technical design of our infrastructure and systems and ensure that they comply with ISO and security regulations;
  • Submitting improvement proposals and implementing improvements and impact analyses from the performance of the systems and applications you solve technical problems in the daily production flow;
  • You are solution-oriented and resourceful in your way of acting;
  • You maintain all the functionality of the applications and participate in the release process, so that it is done in the right way. In collaboration with the functional application manager and tester, you will ensure that all relevant tests are carried out before they are released;
  • You are the link in the field of technical service managers and the other teams in the organization and also work together with external infrastructure providers;
  • You define, anchor and optimize the tools needed for the support and service organization;
  • You have knowledge of Microsoft Azure and .Net;
  • You enjoy being part of a new service management team and the freedom to set up the processes and specify tools needed to perform this task. In this way, you take care of our Data Science as a service product together.

 

Knowledge and experience

  • Completed HBO/WO

  • Background in technical application management

  • Pre: Knowledge of Customer experience

  • Underpressure can perform

  • Dutch and English language

  • 32 or 40 hours per week;
